Hi, guys. So today we're checking out the Axial LED license plate conversion, fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK Wranglers.So, if you have run into an issue with your license plate light, whether the actual bulb is burnt out, or you've taken some damage to the license plate light housing, and you're looking for an upgrade as well as a replacement, this is gonna be a great choice to take a look into.Now, this LED is going to be a big upgrade from the factory halogen bulb, which usually has an amber-ish or a warm hue to it. They don't last as long as an LED, and they're also not going to be as bright as an LED.Now, this LED is gonna come with a bright white color temperature, and it also is going to be incredibly bright, giving you a more modernized look to the back end of your Wrangler, matching with any other LED accessories, and this is also going to just make it a lot more noticeable while you're driving around on the street.Now, what I do really like about this is that this is going to come with that housing as well, so if you did take any damage to that, then this is going to be a good replacement, instead of replacing the whole bracket itself, and it's going to make it a no-fuss install. You don't have to do any bulb replacement, or any wiring. It's already integrated and put together. All you have to do is plug it in, making it very easy, straightforward, and very user friendly.Now, with that being said, this is going to be very affordable as well, coming in at roughly $20. Now, in comparison to some other options for license plate lighting on the page, usually the options that you're gonna be taking a look at is a full replacement for the bracket and the light, and they're usually not going to come with an LED.Now, in my personal opinion, I think if you're looking to keep it simple, I think if you just need the bulb replacement, and you're looking for a little bit of an upgrade in the meantime, then this is gonna be your best choice.Now, as far as install is concerned, like I said, this is a plug and play install, very easy to do. I'm gonna give it a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You're not gonna need any tools to get the job done. It's gonna take you about 15 minutes to do it. So, let's begin that install. Let's jump into that now.So, in order to take out our license plate light, there's gonna be two tabs on the side. If we take a look at our new light, you can tell that there are two tabs. It's just gonna fit right into the housing, or the actual bracket here. It just might be a little bit difficult to see when I'm doing this. But all you have to do is just press down on those two tabs, and then you can pull down at the same time.Now that the dome light is out, what we can do is twist the bulb and pull it out. Then we can go ahead and pull out the bulb itself.Now, once the bulb is pulled out, then we can grab our new light, and we can plug it in. Now, at this point we want to make sure to test the light. If it does not come on right away, all we have to do is just flip the connector 180 degrees, just matching the positive with the negative, and then it should work.So, we're gonna go test that, and then we can install our actual light housing. So, it did not come on at first, but I just flipped it 180 degrees and it worked just fine. So, what we can do at this point is just push this back up into the license plate bracket. And once you hear a click, then you're all good to go.So that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install.
