High-Clearance Off-Road Bumper. The Artec Industries High Clearance Comp Front Bumper with Hoop Guard improves your Jeep’s approach angle and tire clearance to optimize performance on challenging off-road terrain. It incorporates an integrated fairlead mount and a heavy-duty winch mount for enhanced vehicle recovery capabilities and rugged protection during trail use.
Construction and Appearance. Fabricated in the USA from thick CNC laser-cut and formed steel components (1/4" and 3/16" thicknesses), this bumper includes a 3/16” aerospace-grade aluminum bash skid secured with countersunk hardware for additional underbody protection. Finish choices are raw bare steel or matte black powder coat, providing both durability and style. The bumper’s hoop is crafted from 1.75" DOM tubing reinforced with large plate steel gussets for strength and resilience.
Installation. Installation involves moderate mechanical skill and requires drilling and trimming 5.25” from the front frame horns to ensure proper fitment. Clear instructions support the installation process, but permanent frame modification is necessary to achieve optimal performance and fit.
Application. Designed specifically for 18-26 Jeep Wrangler JL models, this bumper excludes compatibility with OEM electric swaybars but is compatible with ROCKJOCK Antirock series swaybars and most winches similar to the Warn Zeon. Offset winches are not supported.
