Description
Performance Suspension Component. The Apex Chassis Upper Ball Joint Kit provides essential suspension support to improve handling and extend the lifespan of the front suspension system. Designed to replace worn or damaged ball joints, it maintains precise articulation and control for the vehicle’s steering and suspension components under various driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The ball joints feature SAE 1045 solid steel forged housings with knurled and CNC machined finishes for dimensional accuracy. SAE 4140 hot forged Chromoly ball studs are induction heat treated and supported by carbon bearing designs for enhanced durability. The assemblies are finished in black with CR rubber pancake boots to protect against dirt and moisture and include high-strength Grade 8 hardware.
Installation. Installation of this ball joint kit is straightforward for experienced technicians, requiring no drilling or modification of the vehicle’s suspension components. The pre-threaded zerk fittings facilitate maintenance by allowing easy greasing after installation.
Warranty. This product is backed by a lifetime warranty covering defects and premature wear under normal use.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit Toyota Tacoma models from 2005 to 2023 for both 2WD and 4WD configurations.
