TTX Joints are engineered for exceptional durability and longevity, featuring several upgrades built into their design.
Heavy-Duty Design. TTX ball joints are engineered with several key features that contribute to their incredible longevity, including heavy-duty sintered alloy bearings, extra-thick flanges, durable grease boots, and built-in zerk fittings for greasing.
Repel-Tek Finish. These ball joints feature a proprietary Repel-Tek finish for exceptional corrosion resistance, protecting the alloy bodies from excessive rust and corrosion. Not only will this finish increase the longevity of your ball joints, but it'll also prevent them from seizing to the knuckle for easy removal.
Knurled Body. Ball Joints come in two distinct body configurations: smooth and knurled. Smooth bodies are ideal for use in applications receiving their first or second set of ball joints and have never had knurled joints installed previously. Knurled joints are necessary if knurled joints have been installed previously or if the ball joint hole has become excessively wallowed out after numerous ball joint installations, preventing another smooth joint from installing securely. These particular ball joints feature a knurled body.
