HIGH PERFORMANCE IGNITION COIL. The ACCEL Ignition Coil delivers increased energy output for quicker starts, improved throttle response, and enhanced power at high RPMs. It is designed for use with both points style and breakerless electronic ignition systems, effectively supporting engine operation up to 6500 RPM. This coil serves as an excellent replacement for import and domestic vehicles originally equipped with canister type oil-filled coils.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This ignition coil features durable steel construction with a chrome-plated canister finish that provides both aesthetic appeal and corrosion resistance. The coil incorporates re-engineered windings for enhanced energy output and includes a heavy-duty black alkyd tower to protect the primary terminals against flashover.
INSTALLATION. Installation of this ignition coil is straightforward and requires no drilling, making it suitable for universal application across compatible vehicles. It is designed to fit standard mounting points for easy replacement.
