Owing to its aluminum and fiberglass construction, this cover will keep the truck bed of your Tacoma, and its contents dry no matter what the weather. Once closed, this tonneau cover cannot be opened without first opening the tailgate. This feature means you only need to lock your tailgate to secure your cargo. Finally, this tonneau sits flush against your truck’s bed rails for a sleek look.
Three-Panel, Tri-Fold Style. The BAK Industries Tonneau Cover features a three panel, tri-folding tonneau. This style lets you access the contents of your bed, without totally uncovering it. This set-up helps keep the contents of your truck bed dry when accessing them. This tonneau is secured when opened using an integrated buckle and lock system, or a pair of prop rods.
Rugged Aluminum & Fiberglass Build Quality. The BAK Industries BAKFlip F1 Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover uses rugged aluminum and fiberglass in its build. The aircraft-grade aluminum frames offer excellent corrosion resistance. The panels are fiberglass with a premium EPS core sandwiched in between. The result is a tonneau cover that’s rated at 400 pounds when evenly distributed, but easy to open and close. Lastly, the cover is finished in a black powder coat for a sleek look.
No-Nonsense Bolt-On Install Procedure. Installing the BAK Industries BAKFlip F1 Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover is a no-nonsense procedure. The tonneau comes with all necessary mounting hardware, and the procedure can be completed by a single person in about an hour, less if you have help. Please note that minor drilling may be needed to provide the included drain hose with an exit point, if your Tacoma doesn’t include this feature.
A 3-Year Limited Warranty Backing. The BAK Industries BAKFlip F1 Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover is backed by a 3-year limited warranty covering workmanship and material defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
