It efficiently transfers torque from the differential to the wheels, providing robust and reliable drivetrain performance essential for off-road and demanding driving conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from heavy-duty 4340 chromoly steel, the axle shaft features cold roll formed splines and advanced induction coil heat treating for enhanced strength and durability. The shaft exhibits the robust finish typical of chromoly material, engineered to withstand high stress and extended use.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical knowledge but does not involve drilling or major modifications. This axle shaft typically installs with standard tools and replaces existing components on the Dana 30 front axle assembly.

      Application. This axle shaft fits 87-06 Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ models. Older models that use the 260X u-joint will require an upgrade to the outer stub axle to accommodate the larger 760X u-joint used by this axle.
