The purpose of the exhaust system in your Jeep TJ is to remove expended gases from the combustion chamber to make room for unused gas and air. When there is a problem with any of the components of the exhaust system, driving performance, fuel economy, and sound may be affected. The most common issue for off-roading enthusiasts is direct damage to the system. If they hit a rock, tree stump, or other natural obstacle, a part or structural component could be damaged beyond repair. Mufflers, mid-pipes, and even tail pipes can be injured on difficult trails. If your vehicle suddenly sounds different or you notice a decline in fuel efficiency, you may need to order and install Jeep TJ stock replacement exhaust parts.
