How to Install Your Weathertech Front & Rear Side Window Deflectors on your 2007-2015 Wrangler JK 4

The Jeep in these instructions is a 2015 Wrangler 4 Door 

Installation Instructions:

Step One: Unbox the window deflectors and remove all packaging. 


Step Two: Clean the top edge of the window with glass cleaner and a rag or mild soap and water

Step Three: Lower the windows to the position shown 


Step Four: Starting with the driver window first, place the left side of deflector on the top of the window sill like shown below. 


Step Five: Bow the deflector outward and insert the right edge of the deflector into the window channel as shown in the left picture below. Push the right side of the deflector up almost all the way leaving a 1⁄2” gap at the top right corner of windown as shown in the right picture below. 


Step Six: Pull down and tuck the deflector in from left to right with the thin machined flange of the deflector fully and evenly inserted into the window channel.

Step Seven: Now proceed to put the window up and down carefully and slowly(Do this 5 times) to make sure the deflector flange is resting in the main window channel between the window glass and the rubber seal. 



Step Eight: Now the driver side window is complete, now onto the driver side rear door

Step Nine: Remove the adhesive backing on the deflector as shown below, the driver side rear door deflector has a notch cut out in the top right corner of it; start by putting it in on a 45 degree angle with the left side first and then the right 



Step Ten: Push the deflector up into place like shown below with the thin machined flange of the deflector fully and evenly inserted into the window channel. 



Step Eleven: Now proceed to put the window up and down carefully and slowly(Do this 5 times) to make sure the deflector flange is resting in the main window channel between the window glass and the rubber seal.

Step Twelve: The driver side is now complete(see below the before and after pictures) 



Step Thirteen: Onto the passenger side, repeat steps two through eleven to complete the passenger side (see below for before and after pictures of the passenger side) 



You have now sucessfully installed the WeatherTech Front & Rear Side Window Deflectors Dark Smoke for a 2007-2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU 4 Door. Thanks for using my install guide and Enjoy!!
