Description
Heavy-Duty Suspension Adjustment. The Universal Leaf Spring Shims, 3-Inch Wide with a 4-Degree Angle, are precision-engineered components designed to correct pinion and caster angles in leaf spring suspensions on Jeeps and trucks. These shims are installed between leaf spring packs using the center-pin, optimizing vehicle alignment and improving suspension performance, thereby enhancing stability and drivability.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable steel, these shims feature counter-bored cross holes that evenly distribute clamping pressure and prevent shifting under load. Their rugged finish is built to withstand harsh operating conditions, ensuring long-lasting strength and resistance to bending or breaking.
_x000D_Installation. Moderate mechanical skill is required to install the shim, which is secured using the leaf spring's center-pin. The shims accept a 5/16" cross-pin (not included), which may need to be replaced or drilled to fit larger pins depending on the application.
_x000D_Application. Universal fit for leaf-sprung vehicles; some adaptation may be necessary.
