Compact Air Supply. The Viair Quarter Duty OnBoard Air System, rated for 120 PSI, provides reliable compressed air for various pneumatic needs, excluding automotive tire inflation. Ideal for air horns and small inflation tasks, this onboard system ensures efficient operation with a 25% duty cycle allowing about 10 minutes of continuous use followed by a cooling period.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a durable 2.0-gallon air tank paired with a 275C oil-less compressor equipped with a thermal overload protector, the system is built to last. The components are finished with quality materials optimized for temperature resilience and protection against environmental elements, including an IP54 ingress protection rating.
Installation. Installation requires some mechanical knowledge and uses the included fittings and wiring harness with inline fuse holder for straightforward connection. Thread sealant should be used during installation instead of thread tape. Recommended torque values are 10-11 ft. lbs. for 1/8 inch and 16-18 ft. lbs. for 1/4 and 3/8 inch fittings.
