Hey. What's up, guys? I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain, and today I'm here with the Under the Sun Grille Inserts Rock Lobster fitting your 2018 and up Wrangler JL. This is gonna be for the Jeep owner that's just looking to change up the appearance a little bit with a relatively affordable and easy-to-install grille insert. This grille insert is not only gonna add a nice color, accent, and styling to your Jeep, but it's gonna add some additional protection. It's perforated just like your stock grille inserts, allowing plenty of airflow. However, it's gonna keep out a lot more debris and anything that's kicked up on the road or trail. Now, these grille inserts are made from very high-quality materials. They're constructed of heavy-duty aluminum, making them very tough and strong, and they're printed with a UV ink that is designed to not fade. The whole thing is powder-coated and clear-coated, providing plenty of corrosion resistance and making sure that it lasts you a long time. Now, these are relatively easy to install. They slide in just behind the grille, so we don't have to do any permanent modification, and they are designed for a perfect fit. There are many options to choose from on the website. And at just around $135, I think this is a great option to go with. You're getting a very nice, high-quality item that's gonna last you a long time. And not only that, they're made right here in the USA and even come with a one-year warranty. As far as installation goes, I am gonna give this a 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter, as you can install this in about 20 minutes using basic hand tools. Now, with that being said, let's hop into the install. Tools required for this install: Phillips-head screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, T20 Torx. So for this install, we need to remove our factory grille because we're gonna switch out those inserts. First thing we're gonna do is pop our hood and start with the disassembly. So I have a series of these pushpins up top. We're just gonna take a flat-head screwdriver, pry out the center, and then we can go ahead and remove that whole pushpin. So with all those pushpins removed, the top of our grille is free. So we're gonna pull this out and away. Series of clips down here, we're just gonna pull that grille out and then remove it from the vehicle. Just wanna grab underneath here, and we're just gonna pull firmly to disconnect that at the bottom. So we got our grille off, we placed it on the table. The next thing we're gonna do is take out our factory inserts. So you're gonna need a few tools. You'll need a flat-head screwdriver, a Phillips-head screwdriver, and a T20 Torx. So you have these little white locking tabs in here. We're gonna start with those first. So we're just gonna press down on this white tab here, and then we can slide that out the other side. So after that, we're gonna use our Phillips-head screwdriver, and we're gonna take some of these Phillips-head screws out. You're gonna have one here, down at the bottom, one here in the middle, on the end. So we'll move over to the other side and remove those Phillips-head screws. After that, we're gonna take our T20 Torx, we're gonna take our Torx bit screws out. So we got all of the hardware removed from this. Next, we're gonna have to disconnect all of these little tabs that are actually holding this grille in. So we're just gonna go around and free all those up, and pull this whole piece out. We'll pull this center section out first, then we'll work on these two end sections. So these pieces are just going to pull out all by themselves. Get those out and set those aside. So now we have the stock grille inserts out of there, we're basically ready to reinstall this. After we install this, we're gonna slide that new insert in just like a cassette, so we're gonna clip this bottom in first on the Jeep. So the next thing we're gonna do is take our new grille insert, we're gonna pull the grille out just a little bit, and slide this down behind there. Once we get it in there, we're gonna center it. Then we'll push our grille back and get our pushpins reinstalled. So at this point in time, you are all done, so you can close your hood. So that's gonna wrap up my review and install.
