How to Install TruShield Replacement Soft Top w/ Tinted Windows - Black Diamond (07-09 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door) on your Jeep Wrangler

Installation Notes: Helps if temperature is above 75 deg Fahrenheit for easier install.

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove quarter windows and back window. Place tailgate bar to side, will reuse later.

2. Pull down rear corners and remove from belt rail. Do this for both sides and flip up onto roof.

3. With Phillips head screwdriver remove four screws on rear bow and place to side for later.

4. Fold cover towards font of Jeep till center roll bar and then un-Velcro at center bow. You may need to move bow around to access center.

5. Unhook sides of top from belt rails on passenger and driver side. Unlatch both clamps that hold main header down.

6. Underneath main header (left and right side) there are two screws followed by two more. Helps to flip main header back for easy access. Remove all four screws on header left and right side (Save for later).

7. Flip main header back to front of Jeep and CAREFULLY place cover over windshield.

8. There will be a series of screws on the main header remove all and save for later.

9. Once all screws from main header are removed, take off plate cover on main header (take a good look at how the old top is placed in for easy new install) and remove the old top.

10. Take new top and look for front. New top will have a small plastic tube like piece stitched in at front. Pay close attention so that you have the correct side facing down. Place this neatly in channel of main header.

11. Place about four pieces of duct tape evenly across main header channel so the top doesn’t move on you. Then replace plate on main header, screw in left and right top screws and tuck the sides of new top over main header, there will be pocket like stiches on both sides. Replace all screws to plate on main header.

12. Flip top back off windshield and drape towards back of Jeep. Lift main header up and replace four screws underneath both left and right side. Now all screws will be in main header and you can clamp back down main header to Jeep.

13. Pull top back and Velcro center of top to center bow. And then put driver and passenger side belt rails into side channels.

14. Snap in back window holders to back bow.

15. Pull back top more to back bow and pull ends down towards ground. Give a good tug on both sides for snug fit. Then place backside belt rails to back channels.

16. Go inside Jeep and look for four tabs in top by back bow and screw tabs to back bow with the four screws you saved from earlier.

17. Zip in back window and replace your tailgate window bar to window.

18. Zip up side windows left and right and place belt rails to side channels.

19. You have now completed installing your new top!
