How to Install Teraflex Rear Shock Offset Extension - Pair (07-17 Wrangler JK) on your Jeep Wrangler

1. Carefully open the package using a box cutter or knife.


2. Extensions are side-specific so ensure the correct extension is being used for the corresponding side.


3. Thread and begin the 5/16" bolt and nut (the shortest) which will hold the extension into place.


4. Start threading, but don't tighten down one of the two M10x90mm (longer) bolts.


5. Slide the shock bar pin into place between the two washers of the already-started M10x90mm bolt.


6. Thread the other M10x90mm bolt, keeping one washer on top and one washer below the shock bar pin.


7. Tighten all three bolts into place. Torque the two M10x90mm bolts to 37 ft-lbs. Torque the 5/16" bolt to 56 ftlbs.

8. Insert the factory bolt through the bottom end of the shock into the shock bracket on the axle. Torque to 56 ft-lbs.

9. Repeat steps 3-8 on the other side.
