This installation was performed on a 2014 Unlimited Sport with a Rough COuntry 2.5 inch Leveling Kit.

Installation Instructions:

1. Chalk the front wheels and jack up the rear wheels from the differential. Place jack stands under the axle.

2. Remove both rear wheels using a 19mm socket with a breaker bar or air gun.

3. Loosen the passenger side, frame mount of the rear track bar with a 21mm socket on either side. DO NOT remove.

4. Using a 21mm socket remove the bolt and flag nut from the driver side, axle side mount. Keep the bolt and flag nut for reinstallation on the track bar bracket.

5. Use the 21mm socket again to remove the bolt from the lower control arm on the axle. You’ll need an additional 21mm socket on the opposite side to hold the nut still. Retain the nut and bolt for reinstallation.

6. Place the bracket into position, over the factory bracket on the axle. Reinstall the control arm using the bolt and nut you just removed and thread the bolt through the hole on the new bracket. Thread the nut just a few times. Leave the bolt and nut loose for now while you complete the other steps.

7. Use the sleeve as a spacer and install the large bolt and matching lock nut provided with the kit with a washer on both sides. Torque this bolt down to 75 ft-lbs.

8. Install the U-bolt around the axle and into the bracket with the two matching lock nuts and washers on each. Alternate tightening each nut until you reach 85 ft-lbs.

9. Now tighten the control arm bolt down to 125 ft-lbs.

10. Using the original bolt and flag nut reinstall the track bar in the proper hole for your suspension lift. I chose the top hole. You may need to use a ratchet strap to get your track bar into position.

11. Tighten both the axle side and frame side track bar bolts to 125 ft-lbs.

12. Reinstall the wheels and tighten the lug nuts to 95 ft. lbs. Lower the vehicle and remove the jack, jack stands, and wheel chalk.

13. Finished!
