Description
A Full Floating Heavy Duty Rear-end for Your Jeep. The Teraflex Rear Full Float CRD60 Axle is the toughest replacement axle for your Jeep that will outlive and carry more weight than the stock axle. Ideal for extreme off-road Jeeps of varying heights this axle fits Jeeps with up to a 6” lift.
Heavy-Duty Construction. This heavy-duty CRD60 rear axle housing is created from ductile cast iron with increased rib gussets for added strength. Equipped with OEM style pre-installed inner seals and high flow passages this housing is built to outlive any OEM unit. For added strength the axle sports an oversized front pinon and large 8x6.5" wheel bolt pattern. This serious off-road performance upgrade is intentionally equipped with 3.25” O.D. x 0.375” wall axle tube for superior strength and longevity.
Off-Road Friendly Features. This axle housing comes pre-tapped for bump stop extensions and pre-drilled for limit straps and lower spring retainers. The CRD60 axle is built with smooth radius bottom design allowing it to seamlessly glide over obstacles. The axle is covered in premium UV protected triple-stage powder coat to proctect your Jeep from corrosion. This HD axle housing is built to OEM specs making it a direct bolt in. Teraflex’s axle housing is engineered, designed and built in the USA.
Moderately Difficult Installation. Installation of this bolt-in rear full float axle will take roughly five hours. Tools required for the job should not be more than simple hand tools.
Lifetime Warranty. This full float axle comes with a one-year unlimited mileage warranty and a lifetime structural warranty.
Application. The Teraflex Rear Full Float CRD60 Axle fits all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models.
