Description
Advanced Suspension Upgrade. The TeraFlex Alpine RT Coil-Over Upgrade Kit is engineered to enhance the suspension system of the JL Rubicon Wrangler by providing superior shock absorption, improved vehicle stability, and increased suspension articulation. Designed specifically for use with the existing TeraFlex Long Arm Suspension System, this kit optimizes on-road comfort and off-road performance to meet the demands of serious off-road enthusiasts.
Construction and Features. This kit features Falcon 3.3 series coil-over shocks with sealed gimbal bearing mounts to ensure silent and stable operation throughout full suspension travel. Components are coated, booted, and sealed, including oversized gimbal lock bearings that maintain shock orientation and durability. The system includes bolt-on laser-cut reinforced coil-over brackets for precise fitment and a rugged appearance. The front and rear adjustable crossover setup provides a true dual-rate 4.5-inch lift with +/- 1.25-inch adjustability via quick-adjust snap rings. JL-specific springs and shock tuning are included, along with refreshed speed bumps that offer four times the bottoming resistance silently.
Installation. Professional installation by a certified mechanic is highly recommended. The installation process requires mechanical expertise and an estimated labor time of about 16 hours. Depending on vehicle configuration, removal of specific factory components such as bumper-to-fender wind deflectors or splash guards may be necessary for proper fitment.
