Description
Designed as Bolt-On Upgrade for Front Axle. Whether your front axle is worn or damaged, or you want to upgrade from your stock part, the Teraflex Front Tera60 Unit Bearing Axle w/ 5.38 Gears is the replacement to get. With a bolt-on design, this housing addresses problems common with factory-installed axles, which include excessive vibration and loud clicking noises. In addition, it integrates the driver-side upper control arm mount to add 2 inches of up travel, thus making it superior to many other aftermarket Dana 60 Series axle housings. Included with this housing are the Super 60 ARB air locker for optimizing tire grip on the road and ring and pinion gears with a 5.38 gear ratio to ensure effective acceleration. This product is designed for suspension lifts of up to 6 inches.
Covered by One-Year Limited Warranty. Teraflex covers this assembly for a period of one year after the date of purchase for any defects in its material or workmanship.
Expert-Level Installation. Requiring driveshaft modification, this housing assembly can take about six hours to install. It requires an expert level of technical expertise to do so.
Application. The Teraflex Front Tera60 Unit Bearing Axle w/ 5.38 Gears fits all 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models. It is sold as a kit.
