Description
Designed as Bolt-On Upgrade for Front Axle. Whether your front axle is worn or damaged, or you want to upgrade from your factory-installed part, the Teraflex Front Tera60 Unit Bearing Axle is the product to get. Designed as a bolt-on item, this housing addresses problems common with stock front axles, such as excessive vibration and loud clicking noises. Also, it integrates the driver-side upper control arm mount for an additional 2 inches of up travel, which is an advantage over other aftermarket Dana 60 Series axle housings. This item includes all the expected components such as axle tubes and bearing caps, forged inner knuckles, high-flow oil passages, bracketry, inner seals, and upper control arm bushings: all assembled in its sturdy, heavy-duty tube.
Covered by 1-Year Limited Warranty. Teraflex warranties this axle product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship from date purchased for a period of one year.
Requires Expert-Level Installation. This unit requires an expert level of mechanical skill for installation, and it requires driveshaft modification. The installation process is expected to take up to six hours.
Application. The Teraflex Front Tera60 Unit Bearing Axle fits all 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models. It is sold as a kit. This housing does not include ring and pinion gears, carrier, or bearings.
