The ride is much better than my other lift kit, which was almost half the price.

      1-2-3, Go!

The Teraflex 3 inch Lift in a box assembled and works as advertised. I purchased a 2001 Tj that had a 6 year old economy lift and it was shot. The handling on and off road with this kit is very good for the price.

      Awesome Kit For Price

I just had this kit installed last Saturday and I am loving it. I took it to a garage to have installed as I do not have the tools or helping hands to do it myself. The mechanic said that it was fairly easy to install the kit. However, he did hit a snafu when he was trying to install the back brackets. There was a small bend in the brackets that was reflected in the instructions, but the bend was slight enough to not sit flush. He was able to bang it out with a hammer and get it to sit right. Other than that, he said it is a great lift. The shocks are so much better than what I had on my jeep before. The overall ride is very smooth and it is wonderful riding tall again. Though this kit is 3", when all said and done, I actually got about 3 3/4" out of it. I am thinking that is because my jeep is so light. This is the first mod I have made to it and I am sure as soon as I add side rails, lights and new bumpers, it will bring the height down a little.

4 2005 Rubicon - Frustrated Installation Time: Weekend

Terrible Instructions not for a First Timer!

Shipping was excelle! I think the product is good quality, but I won't know until I test it real life. The problem is that unless you have experience with lift kits you are going to have a rough time with the instructions with a plural. The kit came with FOUR sets of instructions that applied to the 3 and 4 inch lifts. The kit also included parts for either lift. The instructions over lapped in some cases and even when you thought you had them sorted out, you will find yourself disassembling much more than the instruction indicate to accomplish each step. It took me more than a weekend to get this installed. I work on and restore cars; I even have a two post lift in my garage, so I don't consider myself as inexperienced when it come to mechanical jobs.

5 2006 Wrangler - Jeeper Installation Time: Weekend

      This kit is fantastic

As the first upgrade I have ever made to my 06 Wrangler Sport, I was extremely impressed with the quality of the parts. The coils are much beefier than the stock, The shock absorbers are a huge step up and seem to be sturdy, and the quick disconnects are a breeze to use. I installed this with the supplied instructions and came out a happy owner of what feels like a brand new jeep. Getting the kit at the discount was also a plus! All in all, if you are looking to upgrade to a smoother ride and have more capabilities than stock for size tires and clearance, I strongly suggest this kit. *You will have leftover parts that are used on older models of TJ (pre-2004)*

      Teraflex 3 inch Suspension Lift

I am so glad I chose this lift. The ride is much better than the stock suspension and it makes the Jeep look fantastic! It was the perfect height to stick 35s on as well. It took us from about 2pm to 10pm to get everything on and checked that everything was tightened and good to go. Altogether about 8 hours (including our goofing off breaks). I would highly recommend this lift to anyone wanting a smooth ride, a great looking Jeep, and great offroad capability. I also think that you get the most bang for your buck. You can't go wrong with Teraflex.

      Great product, fast shipping

3" basic suspension lift... Took a weekend to put it on, good quality components. Hardest part was removal of old parts. Instructions were very basic, if you don't have a mechanical background... Have it installed. They also don't tell you in the description that new control arms are highly recommend.

      4 2002 - RadioFlyer Installation Time: Weekend

      3" Teraflex lift

The lift kit arrived fast and all parts were present. Installation went pretty much per the instructions some interpretation was necessary but you can figure out what you need to do. Don't judge your ride quality until the new springs have had some load on them for a couple of days. for a 3' lift you don't sacrifice a ton of ride quality but you do give up some. My biggest disappointment is that both front shocks are leaking oil and while I know they can be warrantied I am not looking forward to installing them twice.

Which Teraflex sye is recommended - the short shaft or extreme short shaft unit and why?

    • This would depend whether your Wrangler features a Speedometer Gear or Speed Ring Sensor. The standard Short Shaft kit by Teraflex features the Speedometer Gear, while the Extreme kit has the Ring Sensor.

I have a 2001 tj sport. I will be putting 33x12.50’s on with this lift. What backspacing and offset will I need for wheels? Thank you.

    • With the Teraflex 3 in. Lift Kit and 33.x12.50s we would suggest 4" of backspacing or less to make sure you have the proper clearance and won't need wheel spacers.

Does this kit have everything needed to install it abd hit the road or would I need to buy new steering parts?

    • With the Teraflex 3 in. Lift Kit we would recommend the addition of a transfer case drop, or a motor mount lift to correct driveline angles, but otherwise no other components should be needed.
