Hey, guys. So, today we're checking out the Light Bar Sequential LED Tail Lights in Black fitting all 2016 and newer Toyota Tacomas. So, if you're in search of a new set of tail lights or better lighting performance and more custom look to the back end of your truck, this is going to be a great choice to take a look into. So, as you can tell, this is going to completely switch it up from the OEM styling with a sleek black housing and a light bar design. Now, these light bars on each outer side are going to act as more of a fiber optic light with that LED behind them. So whenever you put on the running lights, or whenever you hit your brake, these are going to illuminate red. Now, not only are you going to have that light bar on the outside, but you're also going to have multiple LEDs on the inside, which are gonna increase your lighting performance for better visibility out of the rear end of your truck, and also to make you more noticeable while you're driving around on the street. Now, speaking of that, what I do really like about this set of tail lights in particular is the fact that this is going to have a sequential feature. So, these will illuminate at different times when you actuate your turn signal or you actuate your hazards which again is going to make you a little bit more noticeable on the roads by other drivers, but it's also just going to add to that custom look at these tail lights are bringing to the table. Now, the other thing that I do like is the fact that these are full-LED, some other choices on the page will require you to swap over your factory back up light, this will not. This is a completely plug and play system that is fully LED.Now, with all that being said these are gonna come in at roughly $300 which is a very average price point for a set of LED tail lights on the page. Now, in comparison to some other choices, like I said some other options will require you to swap over that factory bulb, and with these, they do not. Some other choices may be set up a little bit differently, they may not have the light bar design, or they may have different lenses or a different housing. So, instead of a black housing with a clear lens like this one, they may have a chrome housing or they may have a smoked lens. So, it really comes down to your personal preference in the design. However, if you are looking for that light bar, if you're looking for the custom look, a clear lens, and sleek black housing and better lighting performance for your truck, this is going to be a great choice. As far as install is concerned, I'm gonna give it a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. This is going to be incredibly easy to install, you're gonna need a couple of basic hand tools to get the job done and probably 30 minutes worth of your time. So, speaking of that install, let's jump into that now. The tools that I used for my install were an impact wrench and a 10-millimeter socket. So, for this install, we're gonna start with our tailgate open, there are a couple of bolts on the inside of our tailgate we need to access in order to take out our tail light. So, you're gonna need a 10-millimeter socket and impact wrench or a ratchet and then we can go ahead and remove those two bolts to remove our tail light. So, on the inside here, you're gonna see a couple of 10-millimeter bolts. Some of those are just holding on the inner bedliner here, the ones that we have to focus on are this second one down, kind of aligns with the tail light. So, this one and then there is the most bottom bolt down at the bottom there. I'm gonna take this 10-millimeter socket and remove both of those. And once those are removed, what we can do is pull the tail light back. It has two posts in there that are in the body of the truck. Pull that back and then we can undo our bulbs. The reason why I'm taking these out is because we do need to replace the bulb with our new LED plug. So, let that hang out for a second and we can grab our new tail light. So, what we can do now is carefully remove each of the bulbs. We can take our new tail light. This is going to have a similar fitting to the bulb, however, this is going to actuate the LED.So, now that our bolts are out of the factory socket, what we can do is plug in our tail light. I would like to mention that you will need to make sure that the correct plugs go into the correct sockets and they're also oriented in the correct way. If you have the positive on the negative and vice versa, the tail light won't operate properly. So, we're gonna start with the top one. This is gonna be the top one on your harness, it's gonna have a straight across three style plug and this is going to be our positive and negative plug. Wanna make sure that the white wire with black trace is also on the same side as the ground and that the red wire is on the same side as that yellow wire. Moving down, if you're facing the plug in the middle, towards you or up, you wanna make sure that the black is on the outside. There's gonna be another white wire with a black trace, you can kind of see it in there. And then for the bottom one is gonna be pretty straightforward. It's a white wire with black trace, and then a red wire, you wanna make sure that these are on the same side. So black to black, red to red. plug that in, make sure everything clicks, and then we'll be able to mount this up. And before you secure it down, I would recommend that you test out the light, make sure that it works, then we can go ahead and grab our 10-millimeter bolts, thread those into place. Then we can go ahead and tighten them up with our 10-millimeter socket. So, before we install our second tail light, I do wanna stop down and tell you guys a little bit more about this new tail light setup, especially in comparison to the factory one and show you some of the similarities and differences between the two. And as you can tell right off the bat that there's really not gonna be a lot of similarity. This is going to completely switch it up when it comes to the look but it's also going to switch it up completely when it comes to the function as well. Now, just as a brief overview of our factory tail light, as you can see, this has the traditional look to it, it's great for stock applications, has that traditional red lens with the white lens down at the bottom for the reverse light. Going to have a standard plastic housing, and inside it's going to have those halogen bulbs. Now, those again are great for stock applications, however, they're not gonna be as bright as an LED and that's exactly what you're getting with this new setup. Now, over here on our new tail light setup, we have a very sleek black housing giving you more of a custom look. And speaking of custom look, you're getting some fiber optic detailing, you get that light bar display and that is going to illuminate red, and that is going to be your tail light. So, that's gonna give you more of a modernized look and they're also going to be a lot brighter and make you more noticeable on the road to other drivers. Now you're also gonna have multiple LEDs down on the side here. Some of them for braking, turn signals, and also that is going to be at your backup light. Then you're gonna have some standard reflectors over on the side and down on the bottom. So, you are getting a lot of the function that you would out of your factory tail light, however, it's going to perform a lot better than your factory tail light. Nonetheless, again, you are getting a custom look, and these are actually going to be a little bit more durable than the factory one, this comes with a clear hardened lens. So this will be able to take a little bit of abuse if you take your truck off-road or even on the work site, you can ensure that these are going to hold up. Now, my favorite part about these is the fact that they are completely plug and play as you guys just saw. So, what do you say we go ahead and install our second tail light? So, after everything's tightened up then you're all set to go. So, that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install.
