Description
Heavy-Duty Suspension. The 3-Inch Rear Expedition 2.0 Leaf Springs are engineered to enhance suspension performance while providing significant lift for tire clearance and increased travel. Designed for demanding off-road and expedition use, these springs allow trucks to carry heavier loads, up to 1000 lbs, making them ideal for vehicles equipped with long-distance excursion gear and added cargo weight.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with a higher leaf count using thinner steel leaves, these springs yield a more flexible and progressive spring rate curve. Features include double military wraps on the main leaf for durability, torque leaf to reduce axle wrap without compromising ride quality, Teflon anti-friction pads to reduce noise and wear, and shot-peened leaves to relieve stress, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and includes reuse of factory bolts with supplied reducer sleeves. No drilling is required; however, longer U-bolts and shocks are necessary, and properly sized bump stops must be installed to maintain warranty coverage.
Warranty. These springs come with a 90-day limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship prior to installation.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the 2005 through 2023 Tacoma models without exclusions.
