How to Install T-REX Vertical Billet Grille Insert on your 2007-2013 Wrangler

Hardware / Parts List:

7 Vertical Billet Inserts

14 #8 x 1” 6 Head Screws

14 #8 U Nuts

2 Custom Brackets

Step 1
Read and understand all instructions before attempting the install of this grille. Be sure that the package of hardware matches the hardware list as listed above. Next, test fit the T-REX grille to the vehicles factory openings. You are now ready for the install:

Step 2
Using the needle nose pliers; unclip the harness to the factory fog lights. These can be accessed through the wheel wells. Remove the factory clips holding the grille to the vehicle. By pulling on the bottom corner of the grille; this will release the lower grille clips. Be sure not to damage your factory grille.

Step 3
If the grille is equipped with a one piece factory mesh; remove the mesh by removing the screws and U clips on the bottom of the grille. Place the grille face up on a soft surface. Locate the two custom brackets; place a U nut on each of the drilled holes on each bracket. Make sue the U nuts all face the same way. Install one billet insert into the grille at the far side. The insert only fits in one way. Place a screw into the mounting holes on this insert. From the bottom side of the grill; place the bracket up to the screw and secure (See Pictures). Take the second bracket and secure to the insert. Place the next insert into the opening furthest away. Place a screw into the mounting holes on
this insert. From the bottom side of the grill; place the bracket up to the screw and secure. Take the second bracket and secure to the insert. Insert the remaining inserts one by one into the openings along with the screws. Secure all the inserts to the brackets. Center the inserts and tighten all hardware till snug (See Pictures).

Step 4
Replace the grille and all hardware. Reconnect the fog lights. Make sure all hardware is secure.
