  • Sockets: 10mm, 11mm
  • Socket Wrench
  • 11mm Wrench
  • Jack and Jack Stands

Installation Instructions:

1. You can start by using a jack and jack stands to lift the driver front of the Jeep by the frame. Letting the wheel droop will give you extra room to get to the brackets.  ​


2. Use a 10mm socket to remove the factory bracket mount bolt.


3. Next, attach the new bracket to the stock bracket. Use the supplied bolt, washers and lock nut. Tighten with an 11mm socket and 11mm wrench. Note: The brackets are designed for a specific side, so make sure you use the correct one. The new bracket should bend out away from the frame and have the small cutout facing the front of the Jeep.  


4. Using the factory bolt removed in step 2, attach the new bracket to the frame. Tighten with a 10mm socket. Note: For the bracket to reach, you will need to gently bend the rigid brake line at the 2 points shown below. Be careful not to overbend or damage this line.  


5. Repeat steps 1-4 on the front passenger side.

6. Using a jack and jack stands, lift the rear driver side of the jeep from the frame. Let the rear wheel droop so you can get to the bracket  


7. Using a 10mm socket, remove the factory bolt.


8. Next, attach the new bracket to the stock bracket. Use the supplied bolt, washers and lock nut. Tighten with an 11mm socket and 11mm wrench. Note: The brackets are designed for a specific side, so make sure you use the correct one. The new bracket should bend in toward the frame and have the small cutout facing the rear of the Jeep.  


9. Using the factory bolt removed in step 7, attach the new bracket to the frame. Tighten with a 10mm socket. Note: For the bracket to reach, you will need to gently bend the rigid brake line at the point shown below. Be careful not to overbend or damage this line.  


10. Repeat steps 6-9 on the rear passenger side.
