How to Install a Synergy Front Bump Stop Spacer Kit on your 1997-2014 Wrangler TJ & JK

GENERAL NOTES:

• These bump stop spacers come in 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0” heights. Installation is the
same for all sizes.

• Installation can be done using simple hand tools and a drill with 3/8” drill bit.

1. INSTRUCTIONS

• Locate and center punch the center of the bump stops strike pad on the axle coil spring mounts. Drill a 3/8” hole.

• Put the bump stop bolt though the bump stop and slide the bump stop into the bottom of the coil spring.

• Install the coil spring while holding the bump stop spacer inside the coil spring.
When the spring is in place, align the bump stop spacer bolt with the hole that was
drilled.

• Install the bump stop bolt through the hole and the 3/8” serrated nut onto the bump stop bolt. Hand tighten the nut and then use a 5/16” allen wrench through the coil spring to tighten the bump stop bolt.

• Final torque should not exceed 45 ft-lbs.
