Description
Enhanced Braking Performance for Any Situation. Enhance your Tacoma’s braking performance for any situation when you upgrade to the StopTech Sport Axle Slotted and Drilled Front Brake Rotor and Pad Kit. This front brake kit comes with the brake pads and rotors you need to give your truck the ability to stop on a dime no matter the driving scenario. Best of all, this kit does not drastically change the pedal feel of your Tacoma so you don’t lose everyday drivability.
Robust Rotor Construction. The kit features rotors made from superior-quality iron using a specialized casting process. The produced rotor blanks are then precision-machined and finished in a specialized e-coating. This process gives you a pair of rotors that are extremely strong and highly corrosion-resistant.
Drilled, Slotted, and Vented Rotor Design. The StopTech brake rotor included in this kit features a drilled, slotted, and vented design to give you consistent performance. Specifically, the machined slots are meant to sweep away moisture and brake dust, increasing the surface area for which the brake pads work on. Meanwhile, the drillings and vents work to immediately cool the rotor down even after repeated brake cycles. These factors combine to ensure maximum bite with minimal chances of fade.
High-Performance Sport Series Pads. This kit also includes a set of Sport series brake pads that utilize an advanced para-aramid composite braking compound. This braking compound delivers higher a friction coefficient for a more immediate response. What’s more, these brake pads feature a higher MOT (maximum operating temperatures) compared to stock, which greatly reduces the likelihood of fade.
Low Noise, Moderate Dust Style. The included brake pads’ braking compound is engineered to produce moderate dust and low noise, both of which make for improved performance and driving comfort. By reducing dust levels, these pads keep your wheels clean and maximize bite since there’s less material to get caught in between the rotors and pads. Additionally, the pads include OE-style chamfering and slotting to reduce noise levels for a more relaxing drive.
Direct Install Procedure. This StopTech front brake rotor and pad kit mounts onto your truck’s factory brake pad and rotor locations without requiring modifications. The installation however will requires you to have a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid on hand, as well as high-temperature brake pad lubricant. Apart from these items, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
Complete Front Brake Kit. The StopTech Sport Front Brake Rotor and Pad Kit come with everything you need to upgrade your current set-up. This includes two slotted and vented brake rotors, two pairs of para-aramid composite brake pads, two stainless steel braided brake lines, and the correct installation hardware needed to complete the installation.
Application. The StopTech Sport Axle Slotted and Drilled Front Brake Rotor and Pad Kit fits all 2005 to 2023 6-Lug Toyota Tacoma models.
