Description

The StopTech Sport Axle Drilled Front Brake Rotor and Pad Kit is the front brake kit you need when you want to level-up your braking performance for your weekend warrior Tacoma. This kit includes all the components you need, including a set of high-performance pads and robust drilled and vented rotors. Together, these components will provide your truck with the stopping power it needs to give you the competitive edge on the track without altering the pedal feel for everyday driving.
Heavy Duty Rotor Construction. The brake rotors included with this kit are precision-cast from high-quality iron, offering exceptional strength and durability. The resulting rotor blanks are then precision-machined to tight tolerances to provide an accurate fit and exceptional performance. Additionally, advanced e-coating is applied to provide extreme protection to rust. These factors provide you with rotors that provide an impressive service life and consistent performance.
Drilled and Vented Rotor Style. These StopTech brake rotors come in a drilled and vented style to provide reliable performance through extreme braking. In particular, their drilled and vented design works to quickly dissipate heat, greatly reducing the likelihood of brake fade. Moreover, the drillings also enable brake dust to be ejected, more efficiently improving pad to rotor contact.
High-Performance Sport Series Pads. This kit’s included pads are the Sport series high-performance brake pads. These pads feature a specially formulated para-aramid composite braking compound designed to provide an exceptional braking response. This is accomplished by the compound’s more aggressive friction level. Also, these pads possess a higher MOT (maximum operating temperatures) over stock, which helps eliminate brake fade.
Low Noise, Moderate Dust Design. This kit’s brake pads are also designed to produce significantly low levels of noise and reduced levels of dust when compared to stock to help with braking performance and driving comfort. Specifically, their reduced brake dust means you get to keep your wheels cleaner for longer. More importantly, reduced brake dust levels mean you get a greater contact area between your rotors and pads. Furthermore, these pads come with an OE-style chamfered and slotted design, both of which help minimize braking noise for more relaxed driving.
Practical Install Procedure. Installing this StopTech front brake rotor and pad kit is a fairly practical procedure as these are designed to replace your Tacoma’s factory equivalents without the need for modifications. Please note that it is advisable to have a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid on hand, as well as high-temperature brake pad lubricant. Other than these items installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
Complete Front Brake Kit. The StopTech Sport Front Brake Rotor and Pad Kit come with everything you need to upgrade your current set-up. This includes two slotted and vented brake rotors, two pairs of para-aramid composite brake pads, two stainless steel braided brake lines, and the correct installation hardware needed to complete the installation.
