How to Install Steinjager Poly/Poly Chrome Moly Track Bar for 0-6 in. Lift - Gecko Green (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK) on your Jeep Wrangler

This guide is for installing the Steinjager Poly/Poly Chrome Moly Track Bar for 0-6 in. Lift - Gecko Green (J124772) on a 2 door 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler. Read all instructions carefully before starting.

Installation Instructions:

1. Park vehicle on level ground, apply parking brake, place wheel chocks in front of and behind rear wheels.

2. Disconnect sway bar end links using 17mm and 18mm wrenches, or quick disconnect, if applicable. This will make it easier to remove the existing track bar.

3. Use a 21mm wrench to remove the two (2) track bar bolts (one on each end) and nuts. Remove old track bar and set aside.

4. Align new track bar by adjusting the turn-buckle until the track bar bushings and bracket holes line up, and insert two (2) 21mm bolts through track bar bracket and track bar. Tighten bolts/nuts to 125 ft-lbs. 

5. Once bolts/nuts are tightened and the track bar is adjusted to have the axle properly centered, tighten the jam nuts on the track bar to ensure it will not loosen while being driven.

6. Grease the two grease fittings using a grease gun.

7. Reconnect the sway bar end links using a 17mm wrench and 18mm wrench, or quick disconnects.

8. Recheck all front suspension bolts after driving 50 miles, and enjoy your new gecko green Steinjager track bar!
