Description
Extreme Steering Linkage. The Steer Smarts YETI XD Drag Link with Griffin XD Attenuator; Bottom Mount; Red Bellow is engineered to provide unmatched durability and stability for Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT vehicles. It significantly reduces harsh steering feedback and vibrations encountered on and off road, offering superior control and a comfortable driving experience. The bolt-on design allows for efficient installation, enhancing overall steering performance.
Construction and Appearance. This drag link utilizes cold headed medium carbon alloy steel ball joints that are induction heat-treated for exceptional impact toughness and fatigue strength. Steel-on-steel bearings ensure superior wear resistance, and the components feature e-coated and powder-coated finishes to ensure resistance to corrosion and wear, while the 4130 Chromoly steel tubing gives the structure remarkable buckling strength. The red bellows provide both functionality and a distinctive appearance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills with no drilling necessary for the bottom mount version, enabling a straightforward bolt-on fit to factory knuckle and pitman arm holes. Basic hand tools and a torque wrench are sufficient to complete the job typically within an hour.
Warranty. The product comes with a limited lifetime warranty reflecting confidence in its build quality and durability.
Application. This drag link is specifically designed to fit 2020 to 2026 Jeep Gladiator JT models, accommodating multiple trims including Rubicon and Unlimited. Note that vehicles with Anniversary Edition Factory Skid Plates may require minor modifications for clearance, and the JT Mojave Gladiator is incompatible without skid plate removal or modification.
