Description
Steering Assembly Upgrade. The Apex Chassis 2.5-Ton Drag Link Assembly with Flip Kit; Black Aluminum is a complete replacement drag link assembly designed to enhance steering performance and durability on Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT vehicles. This assembly includes precision-engineered components that maintain vehicle handling under heavy load and off-road conditions, ensuring reliability and safety in demanding use cases.
Construction and Appearance. The drag link assembly features a solid SAE 1045 forged steel housing CNC machined for precision fit and durability. Hot forged SAE 4140 chromoly ball studs undergo induction heat treatment for superior strength. Components are finished with a durable black anodized aluminum adjusting sleeve and e-coated drag link ends for corrosion resistance and an aggressive look. Durable CR rubber accordion boots provide protection and flexibility.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill, including drilling a 7/8" hole through the knuckle drag link mount to fit taper sleeves. This ensures proper fitting in flipped, top mount axle locations, providing a secure and robust connection suitable for lifted vehicles.
Warranty. This product includes a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects for the original purchaser, providing peace of mind regarding product longevity and performance.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT equipped with stock Dana 30 or Dana 44 axles in the flipped top mount position. It does not fit lower mount configurations or non-stock axles without modification.
