      Description

      High-Performance Intercooler. The SpeedFactory Racing HPX Dual Backdoor Front Mount Intercooler with 3-inch inlet and 3.5-inch outlet is engineered to maximize cooling efficiency for high-horsepower applications, supporting between 1000 and 1200 horsepower. It effectively cools the intake charge air, enhancing engine performance and reliability in both street and racing environments.

      Construction and Appearance. This intercooler features a 4.5-inch thick bar and plate core with a staggered fin design optimized for superior thermal exchange and minimal pressure drop. The custom hand-formed end tanks are crafted from high-quality H-3 5052 aluminum and fully TIG welded for strength and durability. It has a clean, natural aluminum finish with the SpeedFactory logo stenciled on the front face of the core.

      Installation. Designed for a compact fit between front frame rails, this intercooler requires minimal charge pipe length and only moderate modification for most applications. Installation is straightforward and typically does not require drilling.

      Application. Universal fit; some adaptation may be required.
