Description
High-Performance Ignition Kit. The Sniper EFI Hyperspark Ignition Kit enhances ignition efficiency on 258/4.2L inline 6 engines by delivering a powerful 135mJ spark, ensuring optimal combustion and improved engine performance. Designed as a direct upgrade for existing ignition systems, it minimizes wiring complexity while providing precise timing control and noise-free RPM signals.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a rugged billet aluminum distributor housing with a polished finish, a CNC-machined shutter wheel for accurate cylinder timing at high speeds, and a durable cast iron distributor gear. The clear installation cap offers visual guidance for proper distributor installation, and the integrated coil bracket streamlines mounting of the ignition coil.
Installation. Installation is simplified with a plug-and-play harness requiring only four connections: battery positive, battery negative, switched 12V, and fuel pump power. The harness includes pre-terminated connectors and a built-in relay to facilitate a clean and efficient setup without the need for complex wiring or drilling.
Warranty. Backed by a manufacturer’s limited one-year warranty for added assurance.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1971 to 1987 Jeep CJ5, CJ6, and CJ7 models equipped with the 258/4.2L inline 6 engine, ensuring direct compatibility without modification.
