Installation Instructions:

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface. Apply the parking brake.

2. Spray the three bolts (two in front and one in back) that attach the stock evap canister bracket to the vehicle with the penetrating oil.

3. Lay out all of the parts and inspect them to make sure you have the skid plate, rear bracket, and the included hardware.

4. Using the 16mm socket, ratchet, and extension, remove the front two bolts holding the stock evap canister bracket. Retain the bolts.

5. Spray the holes the bolts came from with penetrating oil to clean out any residual dirt.

6. Using the bolts removed in step 2, attach the skid plate over the evap canister through the stock bracket bolt holes. Loosly install the bolts with the 16mm socket, ratchet, and extension.

7. Using the 16mm socket, ratchet, and extension, remove the rear evap canister mounting bolt. Retain the bolt.

8. Spray the hole the bolt came from with penetrating oil to clean out any residual dirt.

9. Feed the read skid plate mounting bracket over the evap canister hoses and mount it to the stock evap canister mounting hole using the bolt from step 7, loosely attach the mounting bracket to the vehicle.

10. Attach the rear skid plate bracket to the skid plate using the included 7/16” bolts, washers, and lock nuts. The bracket goes inside the rear of the skid plate. Tighten these bolts with the ¾” Socket and ¾” Open End Wrench. Tighten these bolts to 60 ft./lbs.

11. Tighten the three bolts left loose in steps 6 and 9 to 50 ft./lbs. While tightening the front two bolts, you may crush the factory evap canister mounting bracket slightly.

12. Your installation is now complete.
