Description
Prepare Your Vehicle For A Roof Rack. You want some external storage space and your vehicle’s roof looks like the perfect place to create it. The problem is that you don’t have any mounts or rain gutters that you could use with a roof rack. Solve that problem with the Smittybilt Roof Rack; Adjust-A-Mount Bracket set. This 10-Piece set of adjustable brackets enables you to create mounts for a new roof rack.
Tough Construction. With their strong metal construction, these brackets easily handle the weight of your roof rack and the cargo it stores. The rubber used for the expansion brackets reduces friction and prevents scrapes and scratches.
Drilling Needed For Installation. The Smittybilt Roof Rack; Adjust-A-Mount Bracket comes with a hardware kit that contains everything you need for the installation. This includes sets of nuts, bolts, washers, hinges, and L brackets. However, you will need to drill into your vehicle’s roof to install these mounts. Professional installation is suggested if you’re uncomfortable with power tools.
Lifetime Warranty. Smittybilt offers a limited lifetime warranty to cover these mounting brackets against factory and material defects. This warranty applies to the kit purchaser and cannot be transferred to anybody else.
Application. The Smittybilt Roof Rack; Adjust-A-Mount Bracket must be installed on a permanent vehicle roof. Furthermore, the roof must not have existing rain guttering or roof rack mounts. Assuming your vehicle meets these conditions, the kit provides universal fitment.
Installation Difficulty. The drilling required for installation places the task in the intermediate to advanced category. Expect to spend about 30 minutes installing each bracket.
