How to Install Smittybilt Soft Top Door Skins w/ Clear Windows - Black Denim (97-06 Wrangler TJ) on your Jeep Wrangler

Included Components:
1-Door Skin Driver Side
1-Door Skin Passenger Side

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

THE TEMPERATURE SHOULD BE ABOVE 70 DEGREES FARENHEIT.

Before you begin, the temperature of the Door Skin should be above70 degrees Fahrenheit. We suggest laying the door skin in the sunlight for 1 hour before installation. If you can’t install the Door Skin in a 70 F (or warmer) environment, carefully use a hairdryer to warm the material. Installations performed below 70 F can be difficult. They are designed to be a tight fit to eliminate any flapping and A better fit.

NOTE: Instructions are configured for the driver side.

1. After removing skins from packaging, leave the Door Skins out in the sunlight for at least 1 hour.

2. Insert the frame into the upper rear corner of the door skin and then insert the Frame into the upper front corner of the Door Skin. Press down the Velcro to secure the frame bar.

3. Insert the lower front corner of the Frame into the Door Skin (tight fit).

4. Wrap the Velcro around the Frame that runs the length of the bottom and secure.

5. Make sure the three legs of the Frame are seated in the 3 cut-away parts of the Door Skin. Close the 2 large and 1 small flaps on the bottom of the Door Skin. Now is Door Skin is assembled.

6. Locate the three holes in the vehicle’s doorframe and insert the Frame Legs into those holes.

7. Unzip the Door Skin Window.

8. Pull out the insertion flap on the bottom of the Door Skin.

9. Beginning on the corner, fold and insert the flap into the channel slot along the door.

10. Snap the button to the door and zip-up the Door Skin Window. (Some models)
