    Wireless Operation. Whether you prefer wired access to your winch or you want to see your pulling target at a safe distance, this winch will accommodate both choices. You'll seamlessly transition from one to the other as needed without needing to re-program or fuss with the waterproof Smittybilt Gen2 X20 10,000 lb. winch and wireless control.

    Swift and Strong. Optimized gear ratios enable the Smittybilt X2O to deliver fast line speeds on top of the strength provided by the 6.6 HP motor. You're covered by a lifetime mechanical warranty and three-year electrical warranty if anything were to go wrong with your winch.

    Installation. The mounting bolt pattern is 10.0" x 4.5" and the unit weighs 99 lbs. Be sure to read the instructions fully prior to installation and ensure all tools and parts are available before beginning the install process.

      Winch

      I just installed a Smitybilt SRC gen 2 front bumper and Smitybilt X20-10 gen 2 winch. So far very happy with both. The only problem I have is with the way the control box mounts to the winch. It seems very flimsy and I'll have to see how it holds up. I have used the winch twice so far once for the initial use they recommend and once to pull out and it worked without issue. The wireless remote will come in handy. It took me about 3 hours to install both by myself

      Winch install

      Along with a Poison Spyder Brawler bumper, I installed the winch. (Glad I didn't forget the fair lead mounting plate required with the Brawler bumper). Installation was straight forward and easy, instructions were clear and it works great. The bumper and winch went on in about 2 hours total. The weight of the bumper/winch combo dropped the front a little, so a lift kit is next on the list. (it was anyway :))

      Great winch you can depend on

      I've owned other major winch manufacturers products and I find the Smittybilt XRC is at least equal and better in most cases. Solid winch for the money. I absolutely love the wireless remote because you don't have to worry about another cable. I can sit inside at the wheel and provide power assist as needed. Put the extra money in other needed tools! I can literally lift my JKU Rubicon off the ground with this winch!

      Easy install. Nice winch. The remote is $200 to replace if you lose it. Keep it safe. Lock it up.

      The Winch

      I wish I would have ordered the synthetic line instead of the steel cable to start with. After my original purchase I watched a video of a steel cable snapping and the after effects were so gruesome that I quickly ordered a synthetic line for mine. The end result was I wash cost wise but I have peace of mind when it comes to The safety aspect of it now. I'm also about 30 pounds lighter on the front-end which is a cool feature. Installation was simple, instructions were straightforward, took me about three hours start to finish to complete the job myself. (I'm 66 years old)

      Great Product

      I ordered it and the smittybilt raised winch plate because I do some Off-roading and didn’t want to get stuck. And let me just say that you can’t be stuck with this winch. It is water proof, so it works in the rain and under water and it has a wireless remote so you can stay in your cab and not worry about routing wires, over all fantastic product. Just an easy bolt on assembly with the required hardware in the box. If I need another winch I’m going with smittybilt

      Easy installation

      Easy installation but definitely easier with an extra set of hands. Securing the solenoid in the center location was some what of a hassle. Wireless remote is a great convenience.
