Good Seats, troubled shipping
I will break up my review into two sections: The product itself, and the packaging of the piece.
The seats are great, everything described. The color is accurate and are pretty comfy, and the headrests are adjustable which is nice. I did notice that the headrest angles to the right a bit (the lock is located on the left pillar, and the right just slides freely) but its not a dealbreaker. The stitching on the headrest looks good, but there are a few stitches that were pulling free a bit, hence my removal of a star. That being said, these were some of the cheaper seats available so I got what I paid for.
I do want to point out the Smittybilt really needs to reconsider their packaging, and would strongly recommend you double check the quality of your seats as soon as you recieve them in the mail. I ordered these seats a few weeks ago and got the set, but there was some serious abrasions on the side of the seats. I wasn't sure where it came from, so I called ExtremeTerrain and got them replaced (Huge thanks to ET for being so helpful!) I got a replacement set and while one seat was perfect, the other one had a similar abrasion, but not to the same extent. Thats when I noticed that the staples used in the packaging of the seats was bent inwards at the same point where the abrasion shows up on the seat, and was rubbing against the seat during shipping. I can only conclude this was the exact same thing that happened to the other seats, and why it was so close to tearing the fabric.
Three out of the four seats I recieved all had this abrasion. The third to a lesser extent, but it was still visable. I would recommend Smittybilt remove these staples and use something less damaging, like packaging tape to hold their packages together.
