How to Install a Smittybilt Black Diamond Extended Brief Top on your 1992-1995 Wrangler YJ

Note: Please read instructions entirely first before installing this product. Installation requires a windshield header. (Smittybilt part # 90101) For best results install when temperature is above 70 degrees.

Step 1: Place brief on top of vehicle. Insert front plastic channel on brief into your windshield header. (Fig A)

Step 2: Locate the Velcro straps along the side of the top. Wrap the straps around the crossbar and secure. (Fig B)

Step 3: Attach the rear corner straps. This can be done two ways

. (“J” clips or around seta belt bolt) · ( J-clip) Slide strap through slot in hook and place hook at the inner rear corner of the vehicle. (Fig C) Pull strap back up and fasten to buckle.

· (Seat belt) Wrap the straps around the roll bar or seat belt shoulder harness. Pull strap tight and secure to buckle. (Fig D) Be sure not to interfere with the seat belts. Never install over the seat belt strap.

Note: There are two small plastic clips included, these are to secure the access of the rear straps to the other tight portion of the strap to help prevent the strap from flapping. You can use these or tie it down separately.

Step 4: Re-adjust Velcro straps if needed and make sure all straps are pulled tight. Installation is now complete.
