How to Install Smittybilt Cloak Extended Mesh Top - Black (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door) on your Jeep Wrangler

Note: This guide is for installing the Smittybilt Cloak Extended Mesh Top (J107382) on a 2DR 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler. Read all instructions carefully before starting.

1. Remove contents from box, lay everything out and check inventory. Lay the top in the sun to let it warm up. This will make it pliable.

2. Remove hard top or lower the soft top.

3. Lay the mesh top on top of the Jeep, with the end with the three rivets toward the front.

4. Fasten the three rivets to the three brackets above the windshield using the three short elastic loops – the needle-nose pliers can be used to feed the elastic loops through the brackets, if needed. Make sure the plastic handle of each elastic loop is underneath the mesh top, to avoid interference with your roof when it is being used.

5. Fasten the rear corners using two of the long elastic loops in the same fashion.

6. Working your way from rear to front, fasten each side until all the rivets have been secured with all of the elastic loops. Note: when you get to the front, make sure the loops are fastened around the roll bar, and not the frame for the door or any other equipment.

7. Note: To put the hard top or soft top back on, you will need to unhook the two front left and right rivets in order to fasten the top to the brackets. You can loop the elastic fasteners to themselves while the hard or soft top is attached so they do not fall out.
