      CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Made from high tensile chrome silicon wire, the springs are shot peened with hard steel pellets to improve tensile strength and durability. They are preset by compressing to solid height to prevent sagging and coated with a durable black powder finish that resists corrosion and wear.
