Installation:

1. Park the vehicle on a level concrete or asphalt surface with the front tires / wheels pointing straight forward.

2. Set the emergency brake & block the rear tires / wheels.

3. Remove the OEM steering stabilizer from the OEM mount on the axle & OEM tie rod assembly.

4. Install the supplied studs to the new Skyjacker axle bracket using a 3/4" socket / wrench & adjustable pliers. (See Photo # 1)

5. Install the new Skyjacker axle bracket under the axle tube against the differential housing using the supplied 3/8" x 2 3/4" x 3" u-bolts, nuts, & a 9/16" socket / wrench. Note: Do not fully tighten at this time. (See Photo # 2)

6. Install the supplied polyurethane bushings into each eyelet of the new Skyjacker steering stabilizers.

7. Install the body end of each new Skyjacker steering stabilizer to the new studs on the new axle bracket.

8. Install the new Skyjacker front plate to the new studs on the new axle bracket using the supplied 1/2" flat washers, lock washers, nuts, & a 3/4" socket / wrench. (See Photo # 3)

9. Extend the new Skyjacker steering stabilizers exactly halfway (4 1/8" = 7202WS, 8202BS, 9202WS & 3 9/16" = Fox 5202FS). The center to center length will be 16 5/8" (7202WS, 8202BS, & 9202WS) & 16 7/8" (Fox 5202FS) when the new steering stabilizers are extended half way.

10. Install the new Skyjacker driver & passenger side tie rod brackets to the OEM tie rod assembly using the supplied 5/16" x 1 1/2" x 2" u-bolts, nuts, & a 1/2" socket / wrench. Note: The new tie rod brackets are to be installed with the offset portion of the bracket pointing toward the ground & each stabilizer mounting tab toward the outside of the vehicle. (See Photo # 4 & # 5)

11. Install the supplied studs to the new Skyjacker tie rod brackets using a 3/4" socket / wrench & adjustable pliers. (See Photo # 4 & # 5)

12. Install the shaft end of each new Skyjacker steering stabilizer to the new studs on the new tie rod brackets.

13. With the OEM tie rod assembly rolled up, tighten the new Skyjacker axle bracket so there is 1/4" clearance between the new steering stabilizer bodies & the OEM tie rod assembly.

14. Turn the front tires / wheels of the vehicle to the left & right to check that the new Skyjacker steering stabilizers & all brackets are adjusted properly & tightened securely.

Final Notes:

• After the installation is complete, double check that all nuts & bolts are tight.
• Cycle the steering of the vehicle left to right & check all parts for adequate clearance.
• After the first 100 miles, check all hardware for the proper torque & periodically thereafter.

The above specifications are not to be used when the bolt is being installed with a bushing.
