Description
Improve Lackluster Steering Performance. The steering performance of early Jeep models has always left something to be desired. The solid axle front ends, steering gearboxes and long length tie rods and steering linkage equate to an underwhelming and undesirable steering performance in stock form. Thankfully, you don’t have to leave your Jeep with stock steering; a straightforward addition can vastly improve steering feel and make your tired old Jeep feel young and nimble again. Skyjacker’s Hydro 7000 Series Steering Stabilizer is an excellent addition to any Jeep CJ; by tying the steering linkage to a fixed point on the chassis of your Jeep, the steering is effectively stabilized and dampened. No longer will your Jeep experience unnecessary bump steer and wandering, and no longer will you experience driving fatigue from constantly adjusting the wheel.
Highly Corrosion Resistant. Each Hydro 7000 Series Steering Stabilizer comes with a tough, white, corrosion resistant finish for the protection of the shock body, as well as a high-quality, red, protective rubber boot to keep contaminants off of the shock piston that could result in pitting of the shock shaft and damage to the seals. Additionally, all hardware is treated with zinc-plating for maximum corrosion resistance, all of which keep the steering stabilizer looking and functioning like new for years to come.
Warranty. This product is backed by Skyjacker’s Limited-Lifetime Warranty against defects in manufacturing and workmanship, to the original purchaser, for the duration of ownership of the vehicle that the part was originally installed on.
