Construction and Appearance. This hood is made from high-quality 3K 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber fabric with a consistent weave pattern and an exceptional carbon/resin ratio that provides superior stiffness and strength. The underside features a bonded fiberglass skeleton finished with matte black enamel, and the exterior is finished with a glossy clear coat, delivering a show-ready surface without the need for painting.
Installation. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and performance. It mounts using the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) hardware and does not require drilling; however, hood pins and a heat shield are necessary for safe installation. Do not use stock gas struts or dampers due to the lighter weight of the carbon fiber hood.
Application. This hood fits 2016 through 2023 Toyota Tacoma models across multiple trims without exclusions. It is specifically designed for this generation, ensuring compatibility and optimal fitment.
