OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1) Unroll the Outland Bag. The top of the Bag has a plastic lining.
Step 2) Place the Bag on top of your vehicle, with the Bag’s large opening towards the rear of the vehicle.
Step 3) Secure the Bag to the vehicle using the 4 side straps.
a) Luggage or Cross Bar Installation. Secure the 4 straps to the Bars with the strap’s buckles. Cinch the straps as tight as possible.
b) Traditional Installation. Open the doors of the vehicle. Wrap the straps around the roof and secure with the strap’s buckles. Cinch the straps as tight as possible.
c) Basket Installation. If you have a Smittybilt or BVG basket the Outland will fit into the basket snuggly. Attach the straps around the bottom bar of the basket and use the strap’s buckles to secure. Cinch the straps as tight as possible.
Step 4) Load the Bag with any gear you want to carry.
Step 5) Zip the Bag shut. Use the 2 rear straps to cinch down any slack in the Bag.
