How to Install Rugged Ridge 2 Padded Arm Rests on your 1987-2006 Wrangler
This product is designed to work with both the Bestop® supertop 2pcs doors and factory hard half doors.
The arm rest will fit the following vehicles:
1976 - 1986 CJ7 with Bestop® 2pcs supertop doors.
1987 - 1995 YJ Wranglers with factory half hard doors and Bestop® 2pcs supertop doors.
1997 - 2006 TJ Wrangler with factory half hard doors.
Arm rest consist of the following parts.
(1) Armrest pad and cover.
(1) Armrest keeper rod.
(1) Armrest main door rod.
(1) Allen head tool
Installation instructions:
Step one (Upper doors inplace):
Remove upper doors and remove set keys with allen head tool.
Replace with Armrest Main Rod and tighten in original set key location. Lower upper door back onto lower half door.
Step two (Used without upper door):
The Armrest is designed to also be used with the upper door removed. Install the Keeper Rod into Armrest Main Rod as shown.
Secure with allen head tool supplied, and drop into the two rear upper window door slots.
