      Poor paint job

Much of the paint was flaking off. I couldn't determine where on the website to mention this. I realize they most likely come from China in a container and they got wet. Probably easier to repaint myself than return.

I understand why it came in after the bumper and winch, but when it came in the D ring had rust all around both of the screw joints. I am disappointed that it would come like this when it is supposed to be brand new. It makes me wonder how much more it will rust in the elements.

      Just ok

The one came rusted in the packaging. They were also just slightly to big to fit the 3/4 hole in my bumper.

Work Great - Finish could be better

These work great and the fit was what was expected but the finish is lacking. Paint seems to be chipping off right away and rusting. These won't be on long term.

      They do the job.

Very heavy and durable as expected. They’ll look great on my TJ.

      Bad coating

These shakes are raw steel under the coating. The coating is chipped in numerous places and they will rust very quickly. I would not buy them again.

      Do not recommend

I bought two pairs for the front and rear bumpers. Front didn't fit as the black coating made it larger than 3/4". Rear pair rusted in less than 10 days. Both pair were returned.

Rugged Ridge 3/4 in. D-Ring Shackles

Rugged Ridge D-Rings are among my best choice in D-Ring shackles .. Very high quality and the coating is very tough ..

These showed up already rusted. They are junk!!! The only reason I gave them 1 star is because it wouldn’t let me give them no stars.

      Rough finish. Rusty

Cane rusty and chipped. I assume I will have to sand and repaint or get something else.

They are what they are and they work as expected, I do recommend using anti-seize on the pin threads and touching up the paint in the hole on the pin. Other than that they are good.

Not much differentiation in shackles. But these have a nice painted finish. No runs. The female part that is threaded for the bolt begins to rust immediately. But I suppose there’s no getting around that with this type of metal.
