How to Install Rugged Ridge Black Powder Coated Light Bar on your Wrangler

Installation Time

45 minutes

Tools Required
  • T-40 torx socket or driver
  • 6mm allen key
  • Phillips screwdriver

Left upright- Passenger side
Right upright- Driver side
Cross pieces-Over windshield
6mm bolts- mount uprights to windshield
Phillips screws- mount crossbar to uprights

While installing do not over tighten bolts to allow for some movement while installing other pieces

Before Installation Picture


Remove the top two T-40 screws on passenger side of windshield


Place passenger upright over hole and align. Insert two of the supplied 6mm bolts and washers. Hand tighten.


Repeat for drivers side


Mount crossbar onto uprights and put Philips screw with washer into hole. Hand tighten


Go back and tighten down all bolts and screws until tight.
