Installation Instructions:

1. Using a 10mm socket, remove the 2 bolts shown below.

2. Next unclip the 4 clips around the air box shown below.

3. Now you can lift the top off the air box. You may need to pop off the plastic engine cover to fully lift the air box cover.

4. Remove the old air filter. Make sure to clean out any dirt or debris that is in the air box. Also, wipe clean the seal around the edge of the box.

5. Place in the new air filter as shown below. The bulk of the filter should be facing downward. Make sure the rubber seal is fully seated around the edge.

6. Place the top back on the air box making sure it gets a good seal all the way around. It can help to start by seating the right side first then working your way toward the air inlet. Now connect the 4 metal clips around the air box. Install the 2 bolts removed with a 10mm socket, but be careful not to overtighten. Then reinstall the engine cover if removed.

7. Periodically check your new filter to keep it clean. Clean it often for best performance. To clean it use water mixed with mild detergent (dish soap works well). Let it soak in to loosen dirt, but do not let it dry on the filter. Then rinse the filter fully with water. Let it dry completely before using it to keep your engine safe. Set the filter in the sun to dry, or use a hair dryer on low heat. Note: Do not use compressed air or any pressure water to clean it, and do not use flame or high heat to dry it. Doing these can damage the filter.
