How to Install Rough Country Front Stainless Steel Brake Lines w/ 4-6 In. lift on your Wrangler

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Loosen the stock brake line from the metal line on the frame rail shown in Photo 1 using a 12 mm line wrench. A catch pan will be needed to catch the brake fluid.

2. Remove the line from the frame rail using a 10mm socket as shown in Photo 2.


3. Remove the brake line from the caliper using a 15mm socket.

4. Install the supplied brake line bracket with the stock hardware using a 10mm socket.

5. Install the stainless brake line on the hard line with a 12mm brake line wrench.

6. Reattach at the caliper with new supplied crush washers, tighten line and install the spring clip. See Photo 3.

7. After installation, the brake system must be bleed to ensure proper braking capacity and function.
