Directions For: Non-Skid Roof Pad

Add the Non-Skid Roof Pad to prevent a car top carrier from shifting on the roof of the vehicle. The Pad also protects the roof from damage caused by sharp-edged objects inside the carrier. The Pad is especially recommended for use on vehicles WITHOUT a roof rack.

1 - Clean the roof of the vehicle.

2 - Cut the Pad to size if using these Rightline Gear Car Top Carriers: Sport 1 (36” L x 34” W), Sport Jr (36” L x 30” W), Ace (36” L x 34” W), or (2) Car Top Duffle Bags (36” L x 32” W). A Pad sized larger than the carrier may flap in the wind, creating unwanted noise

3 - Place the Pad with its textured side up on the roof of the vehicle (Fig 1). Place the car top carrier over the Pad and begin Packing.

4 - Wipe the Pad clean after use and allow to dry completely. Storage inside of a plastic bag is recommended.
